The art and craft of Bagan

18th century fresco in Sulamani

Stucco carving around a door, Gubyauk Gyi

Gubyauk Gyi, one of the temples just north of Myinkaba village.
The temple has been definitively dated to 1113.

Glazed Jataka plaques decorate the walls of Minglazedi Paya, one of the few temples surrounded
by attractive manicured gardens

View from Buledi, a reliable and quieter option for sunset or sunrise viewing (providing you're not sharing it with a silly tourist with a portable gong, pretending she's some kind of sun-based priestess)
